Today was Jordyn's first cocert!
Hoy fue el primer concierto para Jordyn!

Today was Jordyn's turn to have a day with Zayde. Zayde bought tickets for Jordyn to see the Wiggles today at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia, PA. As the show began, Jordyn was mesmerized by the sights, lights and music of her favourite t.v. show. After about 20 minutes, she began to get loose and began to sing and move her hands to the songs. Every time we tried to tape Jordyn, she stopped dancing (except for the video posted below). Afterwards,was the biggest thrill. Marta insisted that we stay and see the Wiggles for autographs. Her patience paid off and she and Jordyn had pictures taken with both Murray and Greg. Zayde and Marta enjoyed themselves as it was a great show! Unfortunately, Jordyn, won't remember this, but we have pictures for her!  In addition, Matthew did not go to the concert, but it has been a pleasure to have The Wiggles in our household for the last 7 years as Matthew began to watch them when he was a year old!

Hoy le tocó a Jordyn para pasar el día con su abuelo. Le compró a Jordyn boletos para asistir el concierto de los Wiggles (un grupo australiano) cuando su gira vino a Filadelfia, Pa. Cuando empezó el concierto, Jordyn no entendía muy bien lo que estaba pasando con todas las luces y música. Es que el grupo que a ella le encanta estaba enfrente de ella en vivo. Después de 20 minutos, empezó a mover los brazos y las piernas cantando las canciones. Desafortunadamente, dejó de bailar cuando la filmé, pero pude lograrlo como pueden ver en el video abajo. Después del concierto, Marta quiso  que Jordyn los viera a los Wiggles en el estacionamiento para firmar su sombrero nuevo. Después de un rato, lo logró y Murray y Greg sacaron fotos con Jordyn y Marta. Zayde (el abuelo), Marta y yo lo disfrutamos hoy y es una lastima que Jordyn no vaya a recordar  el concierto pero tenemos fotos así que ella pueda verlo en el porvenir

Thunderbirds airshow--Atlantic City

August 17, 2012--Atlantic City, NJ


Today was my Poppop's 91st birthday and he wanted to take Matthew and I to see the airshow in Atlantic City which featured the Thunderbirds (U.S. Air Force) . It was a beautiful day with wall to wall sunshine and high's in the upper 80's. Matthew both enjoyed the water and the airshow as well as a walk along the boardwalk in the evening. Of the 4 hour show, he must have spent about 3 of them in the water!

Hoy mi abuelo cumplió 91 años y quiso que lo acompañaramos a la exhibición de aviones hoy en Atlantic City. Hacía un día caloroso y estaba despejado con la temperatura máxima hoy de 30 grados. Matthew lo pasó bien en el mar y le encantó la exhibición también. Esta noche, pasamos el malecon con mis padres y mi abuelo. La exhibición duró 4 horas y creo que Matthew ha pasado 3 horas metido en el agua.

August 7th, 2012

Tonight, we went to the Phillies game for Jewish Heritage night at the ballpark. Matthew and Jordyn enjoying the game and each others company. I have already converted Matthew into a Philly sports fan and now we are doing the same for Jordyn.

Esta noche, asistimos el partido de los Filis para la noche judía en el estadio. Matthew y Jordyn disfrutaban el partido y lo pasaban muy bien juntos. ¡Ya convertí a Matthew como un fanático de los deportes de Filadelfia y supongo que haremos lo mismo con Jordyn!
